The Quad Cities offer a range of activities for families with children of any age, or so I’m told. I don’t have children (other than that silly inner child of mine), so I’m making my best guess here. Let me know if you have better ideas.

TO DO
Get on the river, play in a museum, and tour a very cool factory where giant combines come to life.
Channel Cat Water Taxis (Quad Cities overview page), Family Museum (Bettendorf), Putnam Museum (Davenport), Fryxell Geology Museum (Rock Island), John Deere Pavilion (Moline), and John Deere Factory Tour (Moline).

FOOD
Any of these places will offer fine food choices for adults and kids.
Harris Pizza (several locations), Lagomarcinos (Moline), Whitey’s Ice Cream (several locations), Azteca (several locations), Hungry Hobo (several locations), and the River House Bar and Grill (Moline).

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
River Bandits baseball game (Quad Cities overview page) or another local sports team (see the QC Overview page).

STAY
The Lodge (Bettendorf) offers a range of room types, all with a medieval theme.

FESTIVAL
The whole family will get a kick out of watching small cars zip around city streets during the Rock Island Grand Prix (Quad Cities overview page).
