Animal Life

The Mississippi Valley is home to an impressive range of animal life. Birds are perhaps most abundant, but there are plenty of mammals and no shortage of insects. There are also several zoos in river towns, which makes it quite easy to snap good pictures of animals that aren’t native to the region.
