I’m lucky enough to live a short 20-minute drive from the point where North America’s two longest rivers meet. which means I get a lot of opportunities to photograph the confluence and to do so at different times of year. The two panoramas below were taken at a time when both rivers were near historically low levels, so I had a chance to walk much further down the narrow point of land that separates the rivers than I have before.
