There’s a reason that the state slogan of Arkansas is The Natural State. Arkansas has natural beauty in abundance. Most people probably know about the Ozarks and its famous streams, but there’s also plenty of natural beauty along the Mississippi River.
It’s a remarkably wild part of the state, more so than people realize. Only 7% of the state’s population lives in one of the eight counties along the Mississippi. The cities are small and the spaces are wide open. Here are a few pictures to show it off.
