Texas-based Ross Shifflett wrote Mississippi as a tribute to legendary bluesman Robert Johnson, and it’s one hell of a rockin’ tribute. If you’re like me, you’ll get hooked by the raw emotion and energy in this performance. Shifflett released Mississippi in 2006 on Shiffy the Kid. He now plays with a group called Black Dutch Sioux.
