It’s mud month at the Song of the Day department, so let’s continue the theme with some self-described Bayou Noir courtesy of Louisiana-based Lanny McGough. His version of Mississippi Mud is a cautionary tale of getting bogged down or downright lost in that darn mud; it was released in 2011 on his City of the Dead CD.
