Chicago’s The New Colony Six reached the national stage in the 1960s with hits such as Love You So Much and Thing’s I’d Like to Say. Muddy Feet (On the Mississippi) was originally recorded in 1970, but it sat in storage until released in 2007 on the Sides CD. It’s a fun song that frankly I don’t really understand, but there are storms and angels and muddy feet, so how can you go wrong?
