I didn’t intend for this month to feature musicians who wrote a collection of songs inspired by a trip along the river but that’s what I ended up doing. This week we turn to Jacob Folk who traveled along North America’s great rivers in the summer of 2011, exploring the world around and within him. I’m a little jealous. The title song from the 2011 EP, Riverside, speaks to the power of a river to offer a space for reflection and renewal.
