On Friday (April 27, 2012), the park atop Grandad Bluff officially reopens after a year-long $1.2 million restoration. The park shelter has been restored to its 1932 appearance and the walkway down the southwest corner has been repaired and will be open for the first time in four years. The timing couldn’t be better as 2012 marks the park’s centennial. Stop by and enjoy the panoramic views from 500 feet above the city.
