Thanks to the early arrival of spring, now is a good time to hike at Cassville Bluffs-Roe Unit State Natural Area. The natural area is mostly undeveloped and can be a challenging place to hike in late summer with thick foliage, but right now there will be fewer obstacles and the views of the river from the goat prairies less obstructed.
