If you like St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll love the festivities in the Quad Ciites as the nation’s only interstate St. Patrick’s Day Grand Parade marches on this Saturday (March 17, 2012). The parade starts at 11:30am at 4th Avenue and 23rd Street in Rock Island, works its way through downtown, then crosses the Mississippi River via the Centennial Bridge to Davenport, Iowa. Arrive early; the parade draws tens of thousands of spectators.
